Manufacturing
Cotton King is the largest manufacturer of cotton wool products in South Africa. The facility is equipped to do the following:-
Bleaching
The process involves bleaching of high quality cotton comber sourced from various spinning mills nationally and internationally. We take pride in the quality of our bleached cotton.
Carding
State of the art equipment and latest technology combined ensures the finest and safest cotton products in the market.
Rolling and Balling
Rolling and balling is the production process of different products available on the market eg. Cotton Wool balls/rolls.
Cotton Buds
Cotton King is the only manufacturer of Cotton Buds (swabs and q-tips) in South Africa. Cotton Sliver is produced and supplied to the company by Cotton King. Cotton Buds are supplied to the market under leading brand names. The company also distributes cosmetic facial pads to National Retailers.
Manufacturing of Sliver - This process involves the carding of bleached Cotton Wool into a thin sliver that is then fed into highly sophisticated machinery to produce Cotton Buds.
Tampons
In addition, we manufacture and supply digital and applicator tampons which are sold to National and International retailers and packaged under their private label brands.
